A CONTROL FREAK WITH MS 

Today I had a telephone appointment with Dr. Doomandgloom to get the results of my MRI, officially I suppose.

Remember the MRI I had back in October? I got the results yesterday, sooner than expected.

Last night I was attacked by three slices of watermelon.

It’s something I have worried about ever since I got here a little more than three years ago.

In a couple of days I will have the first MRI in a long time.

I’m strangely at a loss for words. I feel like I should be blogging about something, but I can’t seem to settle on a topic.

Back in the day when we lived in the schoolhouse, I had time and energy to make jam.

I decided to get my arse in gear and do something productive. I started “reading” in full force.

Small crisis. A visitor comes running in to announce that a resident has just fallen outside on the pavement.

I just returned from an appointment at the hospital. Probably the easiest one I’ve ever had.

I said something so shocking today, I regretted it the moment the words were out of my mouth.

The guy shrugged his shoulders, as if to say, sorry, but that’s how it goes sometimes. He pressed the elevator button and waited.

I’ve learned that no matter how bad something is, it can almost always be worse.

It’s been a whole week of Mondays. Wednesday was perhaps the worst one of all.

I haven’t actually added up how many weeks since I’ve been in lockdown mode because of COVID 19.

I’m not taking advantage of all the extra free time. I hate to squander this precious resource.

She calls it the Room of Joy. Now we all do.
