ABOUT ME
NOW

I have a dark sense of humour, a positive outlook, and MS (diagnosed when I was 36). I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick in a seniors’ retirement residence. I like to write about anything really, but especially about living in a body that’s quirky at best and self-destructive at worst, communing with old folks, and rocking disability. Join me on my journey.

THEN

I did corporate communications for Trent University, St. Thomas University, the University of New Brunswick, and the Province of New Brunswick. I was the managing editor of the Journal of Canadian Studies. I wrote a column for the Peterborough Examiner. I started writing about my life in 2002 and stopped working a year later. It’s taken 20 years to accept my diagnosis and become brave enough to blog about it.
