A CONTROL FREAK WITH MS 

Some thoughts after I tested positive for Covid 19, roughly 6 weeks ago.

Long story short: On Sunday, March 27 I had viral laryngitis (completely unrelated to earlier bout) and a head cold.

This morning I had a hot, soapy shower. I just returned from a roll halfway around the backyard. It’s good to be me.

I’m currently OUT of isolation. When I woke up at 7 AM, I was IN isolation.

I’m happy to announce the outbreak is over.

On January 19 Two staff members tested positive for Covid.

My date with the ENT was quite an adventure.

I’ve been playing two medical waiting games concurrently and I just won both within a week of each other.

There’s a reason why this is my permanent address. Here’s my latest conundrum.

It’s been five weeks since I broke my hip. I’ve had plenty of time to think and put it all in perspective.

What follows is a two-week account of a hip injury.

I finally got my Covid jab yesterday afternoon. Hooray! I never imagined I would ever be this excited about getting a needle.

All my friends of similar ages and even younger with fewer conditions have received their vaccinations.

My hair has always been my one beauty indulgence. I don’t wear makeup. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry and my ears aren’t even pierced.
