A CONTROL FREAK WITH MS 

I said something so shocking today, I regretted it the moment the words were out of my mouth.

I’ve learned that no matter how bad something is, it can almost always be worse.

She calls it the Room of Joy. Now we all do.

The front-line workers where I live are very near and dear to my heart. They make my existence so much better.

My hands aren’t as strong or coordinated as they used to be. Sometimes it feels like they’ve forgotten they were holding on to something.

Time to get new glasses, ones that are bolder and edgier to reflect the changes in my personality.

I made an appointment as soon as the email arrived from the optometrist saying two years had gone by.

I’m taking the path of least resistance today. It all started yesterday morning around 8 AM.

Been feeling kinda sad the last couple days. Nothing specific, just generally sad.

I guess the ironic benefit of having had so many stressful life events recently is that I now have a wide range of coping skills.

Did I mention I’m probably the only resident in this place that has normal hearing? It’s a mixed blessing, especially in communal living.

It’s been a good day. In fact, I’ve had three good days in a row now. And I feel good too, mentally and physically.

Not all pees are created equal.
